Basic car maintenance tips.

The follow tips will help you save money in gasoline, and keep you car in good conditions.

• Replace engine oil. Every 3,000 miles.
• Replace engine oil filter. Every 3,000 miles.

Visually Inspect the following items at each fuel stop,
or at least once per month.
• Check tire pressure.
• Engine oil.
• coolant levels.
• Check break fluid.
• Check power steering fluid.

Recommended maintenance for the smooth operation of your vehicle.
• Replace fuel filter. Every 2 years for cars with high miles or 24,000 miles.
• Replace air filter. Every 12 months or 12,000 miles.
• Replace engine coolant at 120 miles or 72 months, thereafter every 90,000 miles or 60 months.
• Replace Automatic Transmission fluid every 30,000 miles (unless you have a new vehicle that is filled with Dexron III ATF which is supposed to be good for 100,000 miles).
• Replace air conditioning filter. Every 30,000 miles.
• Replace break fluid every 36 months.
• Replace timing belt and inspect water pump. every 100,000 miles.
• Tires rotation. Every 5,000 miles
• Replace spark plugs.( Check your manufacturer's recommendation for your vehicle.)
• Check your engine belts every 25,000 miles or replace it every 50,000 miles.
• Auto Detailing.- Once a year.
• Enhancing the appearance of your vehicle greatly, improves its book value as well as its ability to sell quickly.
• Trade in value is increased with a good first impression.
